I was at a loss today as to what to create an image of. Usually it just comes to me sometime throughout the day; I will be going about my business and then I just see a subject or a scene and know that is what I will create. Not today. All day long I have been doing this and that, running errands, watching the bowl game and nothing...
Then, I go out to the garage to simply put something in the fridge out there, when low and behold I look over and see my husband's drill bits just sitting on the workbench. Begging for 15 minutes of fame. So, I took them inside, lit them with a strobe and blue gel, and voila...my photo for the day.
Proof that I sometimes over think things and should just let things happen as they may...Happy Thursday everyone!
I knew immediately what it was, but what an amazingly creative way to see them! Very nicely done :)
ReplyDeleteGreat light and interesting perspective. Sometimes the subject matter just jumps out at you. I try to think of what I need to do the next day and contemplate how I can incoprorate that. Then try to tell the story in my photo.
ReplyDeleteHow cool! Since I'm just getting into lights, I can't really visualize how you created this, but I'm lovin' it. Simple and compelling.
ReplyDeleteVery neat. When I am stuck I will have to remember to head over to DH's shop for ideas...LOL. What a cool idea. And I love the shot. I like the blue
ReplyDeleteYou are finding the best stuff!
ReplyDeleteI love shots that happen like they were just meant to be immortalized!
ReplyDeleteCool shot and very creative!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure if my husband saw this he'd go nuts wanting a print :). I love how things pop out at us and we have the ability to see a great photo Anywhere.
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome. Who knew drill bits could be so beautiful? I love it.
