A drive out to the lake...

One of the lakes near here, a day before the snowstorm we just had. It was 65 degrees this day, and snow, ice, wind, winter storm warnings and 10 degrees the next. Good ol' mother nature...

I love reflections. These trees and a few clouds were reflecting beautifully off the water.

Glass Refraction

This is part of a hanging windchime that we have on our back deck. It has many glass droplets that hang and swing in the wind. I have never understood why they don't break when they clang together on windy days. Good thing they don't I guess!
While cleaning it today, I was intrigued by the reflections it was displaying. Isn't it interesting to see that the glass acts not only as a mirror, but does so in a similar manner as our cameras see? Everything is upside down in the reflection. Well, I thought it was interesting anyway...lol. But then again, I am easily entertained.
